William Benjamine Crush

William “Billy” Benjamine Crush of Parkville, Md passed away on Monday, May 27th, 2024 at home, in the presence of his loving family. He is survived by his girlfriend of 17 years, Kristin Kosyjana; his three year old little girl, Hannah; Stepfather, Dennis Arnold; several nieces and nephews, and many friends. The loving son of the late Richard and Carolyn Crush; devoted brother to the late Michael Crush. William died after a very long battle with lung cancer and heart disease. He fought his battle bravely and headstrong for 9 years. He was the proud father of Hannah Crush, his only child whom he had much later in life, who was also his motivation to fight for as long and as hard as he could. After suffering a cardiac arrest in 2021, he was grateful to have had a second chance and a little more time with her. William was born in Fort Meade, Md on August 31, 1964. The son of career Military, he spent his childhood moving around the country and world. He enlisted himself at 18, but discharged into the world to become a film maker. William (Billy Crush) had many movie credits to his name that were his pride and joy. His true home was South Baltimore city, where he also worked theater, radio and stand up and was a well known figure amongst his community. Known as the top hat man, the bouncer at Louy’s, he was the comic relief, quick witted, and never failed to tell an intriguing story. He loved to learn and was a huge history buff. There wasn’t a trivia question he could be stumped on. William was the loud personality in the room that anyone could talk to. He leaves behind a vintage toy business that he built with his loving girlfriend, Kristin, that many people in the community may currently recognize him from. He was deeply embedded in his Jewish faith and had a very spiritual relationship with God. He didn’t get long on this earth, but at least he didn’t lead some humdrum life. William was an organ donor and will be cremated as his final wishes. In lieu of flowers, a gofundme has been created for his family to help with expenses left in his absence.
