Michael Nathaniel Anderson, Jr.

A loving soul, Michael “Peanut” Nathaniel Anderson, Jr. was born in Baltimore, Maryland a little after midnight on the morning of Wednesday, November 19, 1975. He received his education through the Baltimore City Public School system. He graduated from Woodland Job Corps where he received a Culinary Arts certificate and met the love of his life Tiffany Jackson with whom he shared a daughter, Taylor, who he was very proud of. He loved and enjoyed cooking and worked as a sous-chef in many restaurants. He and his brother often had cook offs to determine the better cook, they did not inherit that passion from their mother. Peanut had his struggles, but had the kindest spirit and always had respect for others. He always took time to share a prayer with someone in need. He prayed everyday when he woke up and before going to sleep. His family often lovingly dreaded his blessing of any meal, because not only did he thank God for the food and hands that prepared it, but also to ask God to bless those less fortunate than those at the table and the blessing went on and on and on. Peanut passed away on October 1, 2024 at the age of 48. He is survived by his beloved and loving mother, Sharon Holley; daughter, Taylor Jackson; grandson, Raydee DeLaCruz; siblings, Sherman Anderson, Tara Anderson-Fulton (Robert), Taja Anderson-Watson (Shawn), Tykia Anderson-Blume (William), Marchelle Moore; his beloved and loving cousins, Quinton Jobes and Kiya Johnson who were more siblings than cousins. Tiffany Jackson, his beloved father, Michael and stepmother Angie Anderson and beloved and loving special aunt Ossie “Lucky” Hampton and his aunt Everlyn and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He was one of a kind and has left a gigantic hole in our lives, we miss him terribly.
