Margaret "Peggy" Lorraine Tudor

Margaret Lorraine Tudor, “Peggy”, passed away on Saturday, August 5th at her home in Severna Park, Maryland. Her husband, “Bill”, and oldest son, Mark, were at her side. Peggy was born on 2 March, 1942, in Baltimore, Maryland. She was the daughter of the late John S. Kitchner and Helen Kathryn Jean (Ingersoll) Kitchner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Elizabeth (Tudor) Mossman and three of her five siblings: John Kitchner, Thomas Kitchner and Michael Kitchner. Those left to cherish her memory include her devoted husband of 61 years, Bill, her two sons Mark and Michael, their spouses Beth and Jamie. Peggy’s younger sister Catherine is afflicted with Alzheimer’s and in care locally. Peggy and Bill were blessed with eight grandchildren, Shannon, Mark Jr., Stephanie, Ryan, Austin, Cameron, Hope and Julianne. Peggy was a wonderful and loving Wife and life-partner, an incredible Mother and an incredible and loving Grandmother and Sister to her siblings. She lived her life to the fullest, always dedicated to the highest principles of family and family values. She generously cared for the people in her life and demonstrated that everyday she was on this earth. She commented often on the many close friends that she and Bill were blessed with. She loved and was loved by so many. She left a major emptiness in many lives, I know. She commented often, “I’ve had a wonderful, long life.” Peggy battled her lymphoma for 17 months and in the end, lost her battle with the disease. We are all comforted and solaced knowing that her battle has ended and she is not suffering anymore. Peggy, I miss you, my Sweetheart, so much. I am truly brokenhearted and empty without You. “We will meet again, Some Sunny Day.” Bill My family and I are so thankful to so many of you for your heartfelt support offered in so many ways. In lieu of flowers, recognition might be given to the wonderful, caring doctors and staff at the Tate Cancer Treatment Center, UMBWMC (Make a Donation Online | UM Baltimore Washington Medical Center (umms.org) and/or to HOSPICE of the Chesapeake, Severna Park.. On 6 October, at 10:30, a Mass will be said by Fr. John Jicha, in Peggy’s memory at St. Athanasius Catholic Chapel, located at 4708 Prudence Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21226. A Celebration of Life Luncheon in Peggy’s honor and memory will follow the Mass at: Café Mezzanotte, 760 Ritchie Hwy., Severna Park, MD 21146.
