Louise Sophia Fleming

Louise “Liz” Sophia Fleming, also known as “Mom’Mom”, passed away peacefully at her home in Silver Spring, MD on November 13th, 2016 at the age of 52. Liz was born on October 18th, 1964 in Lycoming County, PA. Adopted at birth, she was raised by Elmo Cecil Fleming (deceased) and Alice “Nana” Ella Grant Lipscomp (deceased). Liz was married twice. The first was to Bobby Eugene Amaker, North Carolina, on September 10, 1989. The second was to Randy Eugene Signor Sr., Pennsylvania, on March 25, 1996. Although neither marriage worked out, both marriages produced beautiful children. She graduated from Cosmetology School; however, her passion for animals took her down a different career path. Liz worked at both Pimlico Race Course and Laurel Park. She was presently providing Home Health Care. Always full of life, and her kind hearted personality made her a joy to be around. She enjoyed anything outdoors, and especially the moments spent with her grandson, Camden. She was a straight shooter 24/7, compassionate when necessary, and the perfect person to ask for advice. She was certain to leave an impression on you. Liz loved her children dearly, and praised them constantly. She will be remembered for many things, including her smile that stretched from ear to ear, warmth, kindness, and the overall happiness you felt when you were around her. Liz is survived by her son, Eric Roland Amaker – and his son, Camden Jett Amaker, both of Maryland; her daughter, Amanda Lynn Amaker, of Pennsylvania; and her son, Tyler Jonathan Signor, of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by her stepson, Randy Eugene Signor Jr. – and his three children, Anna Renee Signor, Niles Alexander Signor, and Savannah Grey Signor – all of Pennsylvania; her stepdaughter, Holly Marie Albright, and her husband Steve Allen Albright – and their five children, Ariianna Eileen Albright, Steve Allen Albright Jr., Lillyanna Marie Albright, Hunter Eugene Albright, and Tanner Eilert Sisco – all of Pennsylvania. Also survived by her sister, Alice Nikki Fleming – and her son, Tyrese Steven Fleming – both of Maryland; her brother, Elmo Daniel Fleming, of Pennsylvania; and her brother, William Oscar Fleming, of Washington State; and her foster sister, Lori Ann Williams, of Pennsylvania. Her present Boyfriend of 12 years, Jeff Isaacson, of Maryland; her dear friend, Dary Paul, of Maryland; as well as many other nieces, nephews, and friends she has made along the journey. Friends and family are invited to celebrate the Life of Liz November 21, 2016 at the Gladys Greene Hall, 898 Airport Park Road Glen Burnie, MD 21061. Service will be at 4pm. Celebration of Life to follow.
