Gwyneth L Stringfield Dec 3, 1974 - Mar 30, 2026 Obituary Gwyneth is a beloved child of God. She was born in N. Plainfield, New Jersey on December 3, 1974 and grew up in a military family. In 1976 she gained a sister in OK and then another in Hawaii in 1977. She loved seeing the flowers in Lompoc CA; living on a ranchette in Cheyenne WY where she fed the horses next door and played on a sloping log cabin. She loved hunting for fossils and gardening in TX. She loved fishing, camping, scouting and playing musical instruments in Huntsfield AL. Moving to Glen Burnie in 1988 she attended Anne Arundel Public Schools and was active in tennis/track and band. Gwyneth graduated with a BS in Bio Chemistry from the UMBC. She married Shawn Stringfield and worked at Sunny Surplus and Target in various roles. During her many years at Target she touched the hearts of her co-worker with her warm personality, industriousness, and strong work ethics. Outside of work Gwyneth raised two loving children by taking them camping, hiking, and serving the community. She was active in the children’s education and Harundale Presbyterian Church activities. Gwyneth had many hobbies and talents which included: rock hunting, fossil hunting, gardening, cooking, doing crafts, and studying the Bible. Gwyneth is survived by her daughter Allison Stringfield and her son Alexander Stringfield; her parents Lee Wexel and Barbara Wexel; sisters Alyssa Dunlap and Linnea Neff. Alyssa is married to Thomas J. Dunlap and they have three children; TJ (Brandwyn) Dunlap, Elisabeth Dunlap, and William (Liam) Dunlap. Linnea Neff is married to Bailey Neff and they have two children; Kia Neff and Taite Neff. In addition, Gwyneth is survived by many close friends of the family and cousins of Lee and Barbara. Gwyneth’s strong spirit, drive for goodness, and loving nature will be deeply missed. Through all the activities in her life she will be remembered for her hard effort, warmth, courage, and kindness. A memorial service will be held at Harundale Presbyterian Church (HPC) 1030 Eastway, Glen Burnie MD on Saturday, April 18, at 3:00 PM.
