Donald " Donnie " Joseph Seek age 69, of Laurel Maryland . It is with a heavy heart that the family of Donald Joseph Seek announces his passing on Tuesday October 1, 2024. Donnie was surrounded by loved ones at the time of his passing. Donnie will greatly be missed and survived by his mother Laurie Seek brothers Kenneth Seek Michael Seek and (wife) Anna Seek, and first wife Cheryl Seek son Christopher Seek (wife) Meghan Lance, daughter Dawn Seek (husband) Dennis Shifflett son Daniel Seek (wife) Pamela Seek and son Thomas Kaiser (wife) Daniela Kaiser. Donnie also leaves behind his beloved mother inlaw Dotti Hidgon " MeeMaw" too ( late wife of Deborah Kaiser) step father Richard Hidgon along with sister inlaw Pam Dean, Patty Hall and family's. Donnie will also be truly missed by his dear friends Wanda Sidney and Roy who are a true blessing in this world including his grandchildren Alexis May, Kyrsten, Dakota, Jacob, Caleb and Neveah along with many more . Donnie also leaves behind an immense amount of friends and loved ones who cherished his gentle soul. Donnie loved animals and adored his little squirrel friend aka Fred who he looked forward to feeding on a daily basis. Donnie was an exceptional pool player who enjoyed playing for hours with friends and family He spent a tremendous amount of time teaching and sharing his pool playing skills He really enjoyed taking his boat out docking at restaurants/ bars and taking week long trips with his beloved and adored late wife Debbie. Going on day trips fishing while Debbie tanned on the bow were some of the most pleasant days. Donnie was a carpenter and his carpentry work was one of the most enjoyable moments for him as he and late father Everett Seek did wood working together since he was a child. He carried those memories and trades with him through out his life and made a life long career of it. Donnie was a very sweet gentle and relaxed man with a heart of gold who impacted everyone he came across. Donnie fought hard, so very hard he cherished life and all it brought to him. A strong calm, loving man. One of the most caring and understanding souls that have lived on this earth. There are things in this life that we will never understand but when the good lord calls upon us I'd like to think it is for a purpose and Donnie's purpose now is to be with Debbie and his late father Everett Seek along with many more friends and family he has lost upon the way. Donnie was a compassionate man who deserves everlasting love who will always be remembered. He is an angel now shining in every beacon of light with wings spread far and wide for all too see.
