Rebecca Ann Puckett

Rebecca Ann Puckett was born 44 years ago in Kingsport, Tennessee. On August 7, 2020, Becky got the call that her wings were ready – not the mild or spicy ones nor the ones sprinkled in Old Bay Seasoning, but the real deal wings. Wings that were perfect, tailor made, and one of a kind – the ones God prepared for Becky’s surrender to Him. She donned her brand-new attire, and he peacefully escorted her away from this turbulent life through the doors of eternity to be with Him. Though it was Becky’s time for this beautiful journey home, our hearts were not ready for her to leave! Those who knew Becky – a fiery, smart, dynamic, and tender-hearted woman – know that she took flight earlier than any of us wished. But, we can all take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace with herself and her God. Becky has taught us all a lesson or two – a learning experience or something to enjoy. She was one of a kind. Through her creative, determined, loving, resourceful, intelligent, thoughtful, passionate, and adventuresome nature, she has touched many a heart. The most important quality she brought to all of us was her COURAGE! Be mindful the next time you see a white feather that seems to have appeared from nowhere. It may be Becky sending a message to let you know she is nearby and waiting patiently to meet with you in her new and safe forever home. Becky is survived by her mother and stepfather, Marianna and Michael Gellert; her father and stepmother, Ronnie and Donna Puckett; her son, Ryan Alascio; her sister, Heather Puckett and niece, Brittany Allaire; her great niece, Nora Allaire Meginnis; and her step siblings and their spouses, Brian Puckett; Adam and Tiffany Puckett; Rachel and Will Lester and children Will, Eli, and Eden. She is also survived by her aunt and her husband, Brenda and Terry Rhoten; and their sons, Marty and Chris, and children Kaelie, Amber, Hunter, Makayla, and Kari. She was preceded in death by grandparents John and Rosemary Thompson; Ronald and Faye Puckett; and granny, Margaret Gellert. Private visitation was held, and plans are being worked on for a Celebration of Life.
