Kevin Lee Pugh

Kevin Lee Pugh, born to the late Lyston Gar Pugh and Brenda Joyce (Strait) Foltz of Battle Creek, Michigan passed away unexpectedly on February 9, 2023, at the age of 58. Our family was not expecting Kevin’s life to end so soon. We are all devastated by this tragic loss. He was greatly loved and will be forever missed. Kevin was born with a tender heart, a kind soul and a generous nature. He offered a helping hand to everyone he met. Kevin graduated from Lakeview High School, where he was a fierce competitor on the tennis court. After serving 6 years in the Air Force, Kevin earned multiple business management and engineering degrees from Arizona State University. He worked at many dynamic companies in the field of engineering, ending his career in the Space Systems Group at Northrup Grumman in Virginia. Kevin was fond of adventure and loved to travel. He made many dear friends all over the globe. He cherished spending time with them all. Kevin had impeccable taste in music. Most of us will never experience Led Zeppelin or Pink Floyd in the same way again. He played harmonica and air drums, too often while driving! Kevin loved everything outdoors: hiking, camping, kayaking, mountain biking, rock climbing and sitting by the fire with a great whiskey. Kevin will forever be remembered with love by his wife Heather J McGraw, older brother Steve Pugh and wife Carolene Lung Winter, younger sister Michelle Pugh and fiancé Don Haueter, nephew Bill Pugh and wife Amanda Pugh, nephew Jacob Pugh and wife Kenda Watson, niece Sarah Weaver and husband Thomas Weaver, niece Samantha Sweet and husband Gilbert Sweet, niece Sydny Gray and husband Marquis Gray, and niece Shelby Smyers. One of the joys of Kevin’s life was spending time with his great nieces and nephews, Alyssa Sweet, Kaleb Weaver, Kiara Weaver, Kacee Weaver, Delaney Pugh, Henry Pugh, Zailey Pugh, Willow Pugh and Braylen Gray. There is no funeral or memorial service planned at this time. The family will notify loved ones in the future when a celebration of life is scheduled.
