Doris Virginia Heubeck

Heubeck, Doris V. age 85 of Severna Park, MD where she lived for 52 years. She passed away peacefully at her home on December 19, 2023 with her family by her side. Doris was a faithful member of the Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 175. She loved helping with fundraising events benefiting veterans and was enthusiastically involved with events benefiting children. Doris had many talents but she especially loved to dance.In her younger years, she even won many dance contests and taught all of her children to dance as they were growing up. Doris’s true love was her family and her many good friends. She loved being with others, and those who knew her loved her dearly. Doris is preceded in death by her first husband Robert Norris, Jr of 29 years who passed away in 1993. She was then married to her childhood sweetheart, and had 25 wonderful years with Franklin W. Heubeck, who passed away December 30, 2022. Doris was also preceded by her sons Sonny H. Phyles (1985) and Steven "Chrissy" Phyles (2016). She is survived by her daughters Ginny L. Armington, Kelly Eichelberger and Felecia (Victor) Stein as well as her sons Michael M. Phyles and Robert (Wendy) Norris III. She leaves behind her brother Thomas Utz and her sisters Mary K Gaffney, Martha (Sam) Carbone, and Bobbie Gray. Her dearest joys in life were her five grandchildren, Robert Andrew (Melissa), Randi (Patrick), Lindsay (John) and Tyler and Tara (John). She had six great grandchildren who were her world, Jaxson, Patrick, Robert, Briar, Graysen and Elisabeth. Her funeral services will be held December 29, 2023 from 10am -1pm for public viewing at Simplicity, 244 8th Ave NW Glen Burnie, MD 21061, and followed by burial at 2pm at Glen Haven Cemetery within Garden of the Hours, 7231 Ritchie Highway, Glen Burnie, MD 21061. Her family would like to express our most sincere thanks for the wonderful help and care given by Hospice of the Chesapeake located at 90 Ritchie Hwy Pasadena, MD 21122. If desired, friends may make memorial contributions to Hospice of the Chesapeake or flowers may be sent to Simplicity.
