Danielle Tama Murray

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Danielle Tama Murray (Hughes), who was born on November 11th, 1984 in Essex, Maryland and gracefully departed from this world at the age of 38 on August 20th, 2023. Danielle was full with kindness and love, her unique essence touched all fortunate enough to cross paths with her. Her free-spirited nature made a lasting impact on everyone she met. Her limitless compassion and generosity knew no bounds. Danielle dedicated her life to caring for others, always putting their needs before her own. Her love and warmth created a name filled with laughter and joy. The legacy she leaves behind is a testament to a life lived with love and kindness. Danielle's memory will always live on, cherished in the hearts of her beloved family and friends. Danielle was known for her work at Miranda Family Dentistry and as a hostess at Steak and Main. She was also known for her bartending and serving back in the day. She was more than just an employee-she brought warmth and light to every task. While we grieve her physical absence, her spirit continues to shine in our hearts, urging us to embody her selflessness and embrace our uniqueness. Survived by her beloved daughter, Amaya Murray, precious pup, Ziggy Murray, devoted mother, Patricia Hughes, and a circle of loving friends and family. Danielle is now reunited with her brother, Matthew Hughes, and father, Drew Joines. In this time of sorrow, we take comfort in the lasting influence of her love-a guiding force that will forever inspire each of us. Dancing was Danielle's passion; the music synced with her on the dance floor, where she loved feeling and moving to the beat. She often said “music is my therapy”. She attended countless amounts of concerts and festivals. Danielle enjoyed being outside in nature, whether that be hiking or tubing down a river, taking Ziggy to the dog park, being at the beach, going for a picnic or simply drinking her coffee down by the water. She valued quality time with her family and friends. Danielle was always down for adventures and trying new things. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 11th, 2023 from 3-6pm at the Chesapeake Bay Golf Club, 128 Karen Dr, Rising Sun, MD 21911. Everyone is encouraged dress Semi Formal and wear Danielle’s favorite colors, red and/or black.
